September 9, 2024

Tickets are now on sale for the 27th edition of the PNC Championship at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes, Dec.1922, 2024.

Confirming their early entry are: five-time winner, Bernhard Langer playing with his son Jason Langer, 2022 Champion Vijay Singh, partnering with his son Qass Singhand 2021 Champion John Daly, once again competing alongside his son John Daly II.

Langer, who bounced back impressively quickly from a torn Achilles injury at the start of this year, said, “We are really looking forward to defending our title this year. As the kids are now grown up, the PNC Championship has become such a key family fixture where we love the tradition of getting together and having the best week as a family, while sharing our love of golf. We are delighted to be part of the PNC Championship once again.”

Singh, a three-time major winner with 66 professional victories, said “Qass and I love being part of the PNC Championship, it is one of the most important weeks on my calendar.  Spending time with my son for a whole week, playing golf, is very special to me and makes the PNC Championship one of my favorite events of the year.”

This is PNC Bank’s 13th year as the tournament’s title sponsor. The event was renamed the PNC Championship in 2020, reflecting the world class talent and special bonds that characterize this inclusive family tournament.

The tournament, which will be broadcast live across NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock, attracts major champions whose victories this year span 1959 to the present day. Last year, the PNC Championship gathered a field of golfing greats that had won 62 major titles and included 11 former world No.1s. With only 20 teams competing, players past and present are once again showing an unprecedented interest in campaigning for a spot in the star-studded line-up for 2024.

The PNC Championship has continued to evolve and develop since the inaugural tournament in 1995, when 10 major winners gathered with their sons. The tournament now features 20 major champions and their relatives competing in a two-day, 36-hole scramble for the Willie Park Trophy. To qualify for the PNC Championship, players must have won a major championship or The Players Championship. Their partner must not hold any playing status on a professional Tour.
